We are happy to announce that a new Zapya update is now available! Version 6.2 supports the transfer of Android applications created in a new format called Android App Bundle (AAB), allowing you to share and install received apps created in AAB format, as well as existing apps published in the Android Package Kit (APK).

APK is the file format that Android uses for its apps, and it contains all the elements that an app needs to install correctly on your device. The AAB is a new upload format. It includes all the components to make an APK and generates APKs targeted to your specific device, which means users get smaller, more optimized downloads.
Since many Google Play developers switched from APK to AAB, our engineers worked hard to ensure that Zapya users may transfer, receive and install both existing Android app formats.
For your best sharing experience, we are currently forcing our users to use always the last version of our app available on the store. To check what version you have, please, go to Me – Settings – More Settings – Check for Updates.
