Lovlina the future of Indian boxing made a history with Bronze Medal

Lovlina Borgohain journey was not that easy in Tokyo Olympic and her first game was against German amateur boxer Nadine Apetz but she won this match comfortably with 3-2 points and moved herself to Quarterfinal where she has faced Chinese Taipei boxer Chen Nien-chin and dominated the full game and won by 4-1, and moved to Semi-finals to have a match with Turkey Busenaz Surmeneli.

A historic match between the amateur Busenaz Surmeneli Turkey and the debutant Lovlina Borgohain India. Lovlina is coming home with the bronze medal after a defeat from the world champion Busenaz Surmeneli 0-5. Surmeneli has dominated the match from the first minute of the game and kept charging on Lovlina, but Lovlina punched was that hard that Surmeneli was the first in the match to draw first blood.

Lovlina Borgohain is the third Indian to win the Olympic medal for India in boxing after Vijender Singh and Mary Kom. Lovlina Borgohain made India always proud previously in 2018 and 2019 in AIBA Woman’s World Boxing Championships she won the bronze.
