International Women’s Day has been celebrated worldwide for over a century to honor women’s achievements and encourage gender equality in everything that women do. Women play essential roles in all aspects of society, from education and politics to research and business. But what is more important is that every life begins with a woman. Let’s not forget about that and take an opportunity to appreciate our moms, sisters, daughters, and all the women around us on this special day. They are deserving of so much more.

Every year, UN Women pick the theme for Women’s Day. The 2022 UN theme is “Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow” under the hashtag #BreakTheBias. We here at Zapya want to join the International Women’s Day movement to forge women’s equality and celebrate women’s achievements! We want to live in a world free of prejudice and discrimination.
